April 11-12, Highest point totals ever! 45 Teams, Nice weather both nights, water level was good after having about 5" of rain the weekend before, but had been 10' low due to drought and Dam repairs. Lake was still muddy because of the rain. Most all of the suckers were gigged in the old creek. Tons of carp in the flats on Wednesday night but the lake dropped a little and they all disappeared. Big fish was gigged in the flats southwest of Brush Creek bridge. Carter Oswalt won the Boat and Motor. It was an eventful year for the Gigging Board. Coye Roberts won the 15 hp ETec outboard. It was voted on that one person from each team must stay and help clean fish for the Saturday Fish Fry or your Friday night points don't count. Jared Davis' term was up and Kaiden Osbourn was elected to fill his position. Cale Wiese and Kyle Chumwalooky still had a year left but they wanted off the board and Jeremiah Summerfield and Mikey Shotpouch were elected to take their spots. Then a few days later Rance Escarcega and Kennedy James who were the remaining board members also resigned their spots.
